The train service is well developed and tickets are comparatively cheap compared to other European Countries. Travelling by car is a cheap option for visitors from many European countries who do not depend as much on air transportation as tourists from the UK.  The roads infrastructure has been improved considerably and so it is also possible to travel by car on some of the main roads on the continent. If you prefer to travel by bus Spain is served by many bus companies linking the major cities with state services. However, the local bus or coach service provides the most inexpensive means of travelling within Spain.

Tourists can either stay in Hotels or the traditional “Paradores.” Typically, paradores offer accommodation options in rehabilitated palaces, monasteries and castles. Paradores are a reasonably priced substitute for expensive hotels. Parador restaurants offer some of the best Spanish delicacies. The tapas or small dishes are also relished in Spain.

It offers something for almost everyone, with its many beaches, great music, cultural traditions and history, and great wine and food.
