There are numerous Rome jazz festivals in Italy, but this is one of the biggest. It takes place almost three weeks in November, internationally famous artists and future Italian talent present with one performance per night. Every year there is a different topic, whether it’s historical, social or cultural and a trade fair is curated to go along with the festival. The Rome Jazz Festival has been running for 40 years, and has become a main date in the calendar for jazz lovers throughout Italy. This year the Rome Jazz Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary with a crowded performance between the Auditorium Parco della Musica and Casa Del Jazz. More than 170 musicians will perform in 4 locations around the city, making this happening one of the most important and long-lived Italian realities.
