An extension of the Europe’s most prestigious summer classical music event. Held every year during Whitsun or Pentecost weekend in Mozart’s pretty home town of Salzburg. The Salzburg Whitsun Festival is a prominent festival of music and drama established in 1920. It is held each summer in the Austrian town of Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
