Hispanic Day in SpainHispanic Day in Spain is an annual national public holiday celebrated on October 12. It is celebrate when Christopher Columbus first put foot in the Americas in 1492. A unique parade is held in la Plaza de Colon in Madrid, led by the Spanish military and followed by the King and the royal family.
