Roskilde Festival has a history that’s as interesting and as rich as Woodstock. One of Europe’s five largest rock music festivals, has been held in Denmark since 1971. It has been played by countless big artists in the past including Bob Marley, U2, Metallica and Radio head.
It was created by two students as a festival for hippies and has since grown into one of the largest music festivals in Europe.
Roskilde is Denmark’s opportunity to prove they’re more than just exceptional crime drama exporters, and bring some of the world’s best rock, pop, hip-hop and dance acts to Scandinavia. Held over a week on an island west of Copenhagen, you can expect big numbers from this event.
This year the festival management has secured The Cure, Travis Scott, Robyn, Christine, Cardi B and M and the Queens and Jon Hopkins will all be gracing the stages for the event.
